Welcome and thank you for your visit. It is Kiana here! I am exhilarated for you to be here 🙂

About Me

Career-wise, I am an epidemiologist and a public health researcher. Your typical geek with a feisty spirit who enjoys a good read, solving challenging problems, and outdoor activities. I have studied Experimental Medicine at the University of British Columbia. Throughout my academic career, I have cultivated a wealth of knowledge and skills in various areas, including autoimmune disorders, substance use, mental health, infectious diseases, and biostatistics.

I aspire to express my enthusiasm for science while also addressing the unspoken aspects within the realm of academia. My goal is to assist you in elevating your research capabilities by refining your problem-solving skills, broadening your perspectives, and encouraging you to embrace fresh challenges.

If you wish to learn more about my research, please, visit my publication page, google scholar, or ResearchGate.

This blog chronicles my personal experience as an immigrant in Canada, capturing the transformative journey that has yielded numerous invaluable life lessons. Immigration, especially from my place of origin, is a challenging endeavor, signifying a transition into the unfamiliar. It entails embarking on a voyage filled with mysteries that unfold in distinctive ways for each person. While my own experiences are unique to me, I firmly believe that they can empower you in your own distinct journey.

Moreover, I am a certified yoga instructor. Movement and spirituality are vital components of my life. If you need to enhance your yoga practice or your coping mechanism when life gets formidable, please, hit me up.

Long story short, I believe I have so much to offer to anyone who is here. If you are here, it is not a coincidence! Enjoy!

My Services

Testimonies!

I know Kiana for a long time and she is a really good friend. She is dedicated and enthusiastic about helping people. She also strives to advance humanity and science. Last year I came to her and asked for help because I was going to apply for a Ph.D. position and started to study English and take my IELTS exam at that time but I did not know what to do and where to start. I asked Kiana for her help and several months she helped me to improve my writing skills and taught me how to write a CV, a statement of purpose as well as how to find teachers and a connection way with them. Thanks to her kind help and dedication, now, I am a Ph.D. student of neuroscience at Charles University, Czech Republic. Without her, I could not pass this long way because she is an expert in whatever she does.

My experience with Kiana was heartwarming and helped me a lot during my application process for immigration. She stunningly wrote my study plan and I was beyond satisfied. Furthermore, as she knew I was in hurry, she wrote my study plan sooner than I expected and I am so grateful for that. I truly recommend her to everyone.
